How long have you been an Influencer?
I have been an Influencer since July 2018. I wanted to show my toys to the world and started making videos on YouTube with my Dad, unboxing toys, Nerf wars and having such family fun.
What kind of Influencer are you?
I am a YouTuber, who unboxes the latest cool toys. I look to add an exciting vibe to each video, by dressing up and adding a story line to make it slightly different to conventional toy unboxing. My channel is called Zachary Toys and Fun, so come and check me out to have some fun.
What platforms do you share your content on?
I share my content on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook.
Which platform is your favourite?
My favourite platform is YouTube, as this is where it all started, followed by TikTok and Instagram. We just love creating content.
What is the best thing about being an Influencer?
It is such fun receiving all the new toys in the post and getting to see the new toys before they are in the shops. I really enjoy going to events and meeting other Influencers, I have met new friends and even play online Fortnite matches with them. It is so great when people tell me have they enjoyed my videos, even my teacher commented she watches them all.
What is the hardest part about being an Influencer?
To make a video look good, there is a lot of preparation and hard work, which takes a lot of time. I also have to wait until the video is recorded before I can open and play with the new toys, but they are always worth the wait lol
What do you wish people knew about being an Influencer?
There is a lot more work behind the scenes with editing, scripting and the up keep of social media. However, it is so rewarding getting personal messages from people enjoying my content.
What is the best opportunity you have had from being an Influencer?
To be involved with Character Kidz Big Weekend and the opportunity to attend the London Toy Fair. We get the biggest box of toys during the Character Kidz events and it’s so funny to watch the postman bringing this massive box to the door haha.
Who is the coolest person you have met because of your channel?
I had a video call with Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda. Robbie Williams is so cool! He did say his children would love my channel. Yay.
What is your favourite video you have ever made?
My favourite video is the Christmas Fart Ninjas video. My Dad was Santa and I was a naughty pranking Elf, It was such fun to make and so Christmassy. I love Christmas.https://youtu.be/SWK8u8AnP8M
What was the hardest video to make?
The hardest video to make was called Gormiti. It was a new TV series with toys, I had to learn a lot of information about the different characters, it took many camera takes to get this looking good, but we were happy with the outcome.
What is the best thing you have ever been gifted?
The best thing I have been gifted is the Imoo watch. This is a really cool watch, packed with cool features, you can take photos, make video calls/voice calls and it has a great tracker device so you don’t ever get lost. The video was really fun to make, my dad had to dress up as a mad scientist, ha ha.
Who is your favourite Influencer and why?
My favourite Influencer is Chad and Vy. They make exciting videos and did a super cool series called “ Project Zorgo” which I love. I still watch their content each day, it is so good.
