If you play on PC, there are two new games to claim for free today.
Epic’s weekly giveaway has refreshed for 24 September 2026, with Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles and Mechabellum available without charge for a limited time. The offer runs from 4pm BST on 24 September until 4pm BST on 1 October.
Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles
Astrea is a roguelike that replaces the cards you might expect from a deckbuilder with dice. Players build a pool of dice with different actions and use them to battle through encounters where risk and probability are part of every decision.
Its Purification and Corruption system makes the dice particularly interesting. Rolls are not simply divided into success and failure: players can manipulate outcomes, manage damage and gradually build combinations that make each run feel different.
Mechabellum
Mechabellum goes in a completely different direction. It is an auto-battler built around armies of enormous futuristic machines.
The important decisions happen before and between battles: choosing units, positioning them, upgrading your forces and trying to work out what your opponent is planning. Once the fight begins, your army carries out the battle automatically.
Do you keep Epic’s free games?
Yes. The important thing is to claim them while the promotion is active. You do not have to download and play both games this week. Add them to your Epic Games Store account before the offer changes and they become part of your library.
When does the offer end?
The current giveaway is scheduled to finish at 4pm BST on 1 October 2026, when Epic’s next set of free games takes over.
