It’s fast moving, a visual riot of colour and jam-packed full of laughs, Super Mario Bros is definitely the best thing in the cinema’s right now!

With Chris Pratt leading the video game blockbuster and the might of Illumination and Universal behind it, no one is surprised that Super Mario Bros. Movie has beaten Frozen II in earnings and crowds are still flocking for their turn to watch this instant family classic.

We follow the beloved brothers as they go on a mission to save Brooklyn but end up sucked into a warp pipe and separated with Mario landing in the Mushroom Kingdom and Luigi all alone in the Dark Lands. Mario, Toad and Princess Peach team up to defeat the evil Koopa King Bowser meeting Donkey Kong along the way.

All your favourite aspects of the games are included from the karts to the characters, and it is the perfect nostalgia trip for any parent while the children giggle themselves silly.

A movie isn’t a movie without its soundtrack and the brilliant songs by the villain Bowser have actually started rumours of a possible Oscar’s nomination for Best Original Song. Jack Black is without doubt a musical comedy genius and the song ‘Peaches’ has already made a huge amount of money on Spotify with over 15 million streams!
