GTA 6’s $399.99 Vice City Collection Doesn’t Even Include GTA 6

Rockstar has revealed a huge $399.99 GTA VI collector’s box packed with Vice City and Leonida merchandise — but there is one very important thing missing: the actual game.

Yes, you read that correctly

The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection costs $399.99 and contains 11 GTA VI-themed collectibles, including Oakley sunglasses, a New Era cap, a figure and a Leonida map. Grand Theft Auto VI itself is sold separately.

Rockstar has revealed a new premium Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection. GTA fans immediately had plenty to say about it.

The collection costs $399.99 and packs in a huge selection of GTA VI and Vice City merchandise. It costs about as much as a console. However, you don’t get a copy of Grand Theft Auto VI with it.

What do you actually get?

Rockstar based the collection around Leonida and fictional TV character Macca the Gator. The box includes 11 main collectibles.

Macca the Gator takes centre stage. His figure sits on a base that twists open to reveal a hidden storage compartment.

You also get matte-black Oakley Frogskins sunglasses. They feature Prizm Sapphire lenses and a pink GTA VI logo.

The collection also includes a Leonida Keys crossbody bag and a New Era 9FORTY snapback cap. You’ll find a pink Macca the Gator magnetic mirror and a Chunky the Manatee shot glass too.

Rockstar has also added a decorative Vice City bar spoon and a razor-style GTA VI keychain. Enamel pins, vinyl stickers and a double-sided souvenir poster complete the set. The poster also features a map of Leonida.

But where is the game?

It isn’t in the box.

Rockstar says Grand Theft Auto VI is sold separately. So, after spending $399.99 on the collection, you’ll still need to buy GTA VI if you want to play it.

Who is this actually for?

Rockstar clearly designed this collection for serious GTA fans and collectors. It isn’t simply a premium version of the game.

The box includes several branded collaborations and display pieces. Rockstar also markets the collection as an adult item rather than a toy.

The official listing recommends it for ages 18+. It also includes safety warnings about small parts and sharp points or edges.

Is it worth it?

That really comes down to how much you want GTA VI merchandise.

There is certainly plenty inside the box. Some of the branded items could also appeal to dedicated collectors.

But $399.99 is a lot of money for a collection that doesn’t include GTA VI itself. That decision alone was always going to get fans talking.
