Family Friendly bike routes in the New Forest – Beaulieu to Bucklers Hard
This is a two mile route starting at the fascinating National Motor Museum in Beaulieu where you can find out about speed record breakers, see an amazing amount of cars and motorbikes and re-live your favourite Top gear moments. You will bike along the beautiful Beaulieu river until you arrive at the historic 18th century village and shipbuilding yard where Nelson’s warships were built. Bucklers Hard is the perfect pit stop for ice cream before you head back to Beaulieu village.

Family Friendly bike routes in the New Forest – Wiltshire to the New Forest
This is a longer route for the more experienced riders or families whose adults will be doing most of the peddling. Starting in the picturesque Downton, you will follow the by-ways to Nomansland in the New Forest, making plenty of stops along the way for a picnic, impromptu stick sword fights and time watching the pony’s, cattle and if you’re very lucky, the New Forest pigs.

This route covers nine miles of beautiful countryside as you explore the magical village of Burley and its history steeped in folklore of witches and legend of smugglers.
