Now the sun has finally made an arrival, We caught up with two of our reviewers – Henry and Jaxon aged 6 & 7 from Splat Kids TV to ask them their 5 best outdoor toys for summer, here are their tried and tested recommendations….

1. Zuru bunch ‘o’ balloons.

We love bunch ‘o’ balloons, they are so much fun! They fill up quickly with fast-fill and are even self-tying. Perfect to cool down on a hot day.

Henry said “They are so crazy! I like to throw them at my older brother Oscar and my daddy, we always have water balloon battles in the garden in the summer, they are my favourite outdoor toy.”

Here’s what Jaxon ha I like getting soaking wet especially when it is hot, it is a lot of fun and we always laugh at the end of our water balloon battles.

2. Superwings planes.

Summer wouldn’t be the same without the superwings toy planes, we always take Jett and Paul and the others out in the garden and put them on the slide and swings that we have, we like to do little videos of them and do roleplay games too. They transform as well so we can fly them around outside or they can stand and walk like robots.

3. Chad Valley slide.

Our mummy and daddy bought us a new slide for the garden, we got to pick it and this one was our favourite! It’s a very big slide that’s green and blue and very fast, we’ve also got a swing and playhouse, but we prefer the slide because it’s more fun! Sometimes in the summer we put it in a swimming pool and slide in or fill the pool with ball pit balls.

4. Gazillion bubbles.

Gazillion bubbles are one of our favourite things to do in the garden in the summer. We like to fill up the different bubble machines with mixture, its very messy trying to pour it in so we have to get mummy or daddy to help us.

It’s so much fun chasing and popping all the bubbles around the garden. I like to see how far they go up in the sky before they pop, sometimes they go higher than my house, I think that is so cool.

5. Zuru RoboFish.

Robofish are very cool, we always fill up our paddling pool and put them all inside and watch them swim, they are like real fishes. We have a couple of nets that we catch them with and have challenges to see who can catch the most. Our cat Gizmo likes to watch them swim and try to grab them with his paw, he is so funny! It always makes us laugh.
