The robberies would need a serious rethink
Jason and Lucia’s story begins with an easy score going wrong and develops into a criminal conspiracy. That is rather inconvenient if we are trying to create GTA 6: Primary School Edition.
Our replacement mission: somebody has accidentally taken the wrong packed lunch and you must return it before break time.
The wanted level becomes the parent level
Forget police stars. Every time you do something questionable, a parent icon appears.
Leave your wet towel on the floor? One star. Ignore three messages asking where you are? Four stars. Eat the snack that was specifically being saved for somebody else? Maximum response.
Car theft becomes car washing
The clue is unfortunately in the name Grand Theft Auto. Our child-friendly remake would need Grand Helpful Auto instead.
Players could wash cars, customise them, race on proper tracks and earn upgrades without taking somebody else’s vehicle.
The nightlife needs replacing too
Rockstar’s official Leonida material includes adult nightlife and a strip club. That clearly does not survive our imaginary redesign.
Replace it with an enormous neon bowling alley, arcade and soft-play centre. Frankly, we would still visit.
What the joke actually demonstrates
GTA 6’s adult material is woven into its story, characters and world. It is not a children’s adventure with one violent scene that can simply be switched off.
That is why age ratings matter. The harmless activities may appeal to children, but they sit inside a game designed around adult themes.
