Care Bears Cutie Companions: Which Bear Will You Find?

Care Bears have found their animal soulmates! Cutie Companions is a new limited-edition blind-box collection that takes six familiar Care Bears and dresses them up in ridiculously cute animal costumes.

There are six Cutie Companions to collect: Sparkle Heart Bear, Bedtime Bear, Cheer Bear, Tenderheart Bear, Share Bear and Grumpy Bear. Each one comes hidden inside its box, so you won’t know which character you’ve found until you open it.

The idea behind the collection is particularly cute. The Care Bears have been paired with animal soulmates inspired by different personality traits, whether that’s being soft like a lamb, brave like a bunny, wise like a frog or peaceful like a panda.

Each plush is around six inches tall and still has all the features that make its Care Bear instantly recognisable, including its colour and belly badge, but with the addition of a fluffy animal outfit.

We opened two boxes and had one character in particular that we really wanted: Grumpy Bear. Somehow, the blind-box gods were listening because we actually got him! Our first box revealed purple Share Bear in her adorable panda outfit.

They’re not just little display plushes either. Each Cutie Companion has a ribbon and metal clip attached, so they can hang from backpacks and bags and come along on adventures.

As with any blind-box collection, there is always the possibility of getting duplicates if you buy more than one. However, with only six characters in the complete collection, collecting them all feels much more achievable than some of the huge collectible ranges we’ve seen.

For Care Bears fans, the animal costumes make Cutie Companions feel genuinely different from a standard mini Care Bear plush, and there’s nothing quite like opening a mystery box hoping for one particular character and actually finding them inside!
