Minecraft Youtuber Dream reveals his face for the first time!
What would it be like to be a hugely popular YouTube gamer who has never revealed their true face? All those friends you’ve made over the years wouldn’t actually be able to recognise you in real life and in Dream’s own words, he’s been ‘bunkered up’ for a long time trying to deal with the threats to expose him.

‘People trying to leak my face, trying to find out what I look like… it’s just a tiny bit too much.’
Having 30 million online subscribers and his most popular Minecraft videos having tens of millions of views, Dream has built a career being known only to his fans as cartoon smiley face. Before this week he had only ever used his voice in streams and appearing on camera very rarely wearing a smiley face mask. He did this to protect himself but also to prove that you could be anyone from anywhere and it didn’t matter in the online gaming world.

‘This channel is living proof that anyone can do anything,’ Dream said.
‘Anyone can be under the mask, and I don’t want my face reveal to take away from that fact – Dream could have been anyone from anywhere.”
